I made a script that reads a text file and turns each bit of "special formatting" into code, so I can write dynamic scenes; that's the parser bit
The "little language" is a DSL, they're just... a tool in gamedev for me
What course are you taking?

Character Description
Biography
"Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves."

Rudi is the only remaining pup of Kira's first litter. She was born into the pack of Rising Sun with a brother and a sister. Her brother had a pelt color that no other wolves in Rising Sun had, and Rudi was jealous because she had the pelt that almost every wolf had: red merle.

What she put pride into was her rarity, which, for a while, was the highest of the pack. She became the beta female, replacing her mother, and was excited at the prospect of becoming the alpha female once the original alphas passed. Her brother, Buddy, became the beta male, and her sister, Tigerstripe, was stuck as juvenile, forever jealous.

Rudi's mother kept on giving birth to more pups, some of them her siblings and some of them her half-siblings, but she was still the highest rarity of them all, and she remained the beta female for quite a while.

Very soon, Rudi and Tigerstripe got pregnant. Tigerstripe gave birth to a red merle male which she named Sandstorm, but Rudi's pups were free-ranged at birth.

After that, Buddy was free-ranged, no longer wanted by the pack. He walked away one day into the great unknown, looking for a better life, where wolves would like him more. Rudi, Tigerstripe, and Kira were all heartbroken.

Exactly one year after Buddy, Tigerstripe went off to a different pack, and her son, while trying to find her, also went off to a different pack, but was released into free-range immediately after joining the pack.

Rudi tried to get on, but the loss of her siblings and her pups was too much for her. She wallowed in sadness for many months, her mother unable to comfort her, giving birth to more and more pups.

Rudi had another litter of pups, all of which were sent into free-range, and she vowed never to get pregnant again. However, she accidentally got pregnant by an albino, and, to her surprise, gave birth to an albino with a boost and another pup, who was sent to a different pack, where he still remains today. Rudi was so happy, and she lured all of her love into her pup, who she named Snowstorm, and was pleased when he was the father of 30+ wolves, and when he became the beta male of the pack, another wolf replacing Rudi for the beta female.

She still sometimes thinks of her siblings and how much she loved them, but she still takes care of her son, even though he's an adult now, and brings happiness to the rest of the pack as well. She discovered that when she does favors for others, or when she is just plain nice, it makes her life more pleasant, more enjoyable. I love you, Rudi, and may you forever be happy.
