Biography
Calligraphy, the pack's first member, elder, and mage. She found her way to the Inktriguing pack after leaving her birth land, following only her instincts and the path ahead.
Naturally drawn towards the magical frequency in the world around Calligraphy dedicated herself to it's art at a young age. Many moons would pass, she'd become of age yet she was content no longer. She needed more than what her birth pack could offer. Leaving nothing but paw prints that bordered between the territory and beyond, she had started her journey.
Calligraphy trotted along old deer trails, her paws screaming for rest. It had been several moons since she left home. Her gaze shift toward the twilight painted sky that trickled through the breaks in the tree canopy. Perhaps it was time to settle in for the night? Straying from the trail, she took shelter in the exposed root hallow of a fallen tree. The chatter of squirrels and birds faded into a choir of insects as the last rays of daylight fell below the horizon. Calligraphy ignited a small fire carefully placed from trees, the flames burn a mix of green and orange from the influence of her magic. The she-wolf groans with a tired huff, her mouth stretched wide in a whiny yawn, she curls up in the hallow watching the flames dancing, embers that fade like whispers in the wind. Just as her mind begins to drift off a frantic squawking and flapping disrupts her, ears now perked on high alert. The branches rustle among the commotion, two birds pop out of the darkness. Feather fluff falling around them, Calligraphy summoned a boost of clairvoyance in attempt to better investigate from afar. An owl swoops over head towards a young, bright red cardinal knocking it from the air to the ground. The small creature lands with a thud and the owl turns back to retrieve it's prey. Calligraphy watches, her eyes follow the owl's sight down to the red bird. She tries to brush off the commotion, it's not her place to interfere with nature. "We all have to eat. Live and die..." Thought she, trying to convince herself.
With a quick movement, Calligraphy leapt towards the sky snatching the owl between her crushing jaws. The owl tried with all it's might to slap her with it's wings, ultimately succumbing to cruel irony. The cardinal lay just ahead of her, fearful black beads stare back. She blinks slow, lowering her head to appear smaller as she approached with healing herbs. The little red bird's breathing becomes frantic then relaxed as a soothing paste is slathered on his wing. "You're in no shape to return up there." Calligraphy stated to the small bird, lifting him on her snout. "Come, let us work together hm?" The little red cardinal chirped weakly in response accepting this new found kinship.
The she-wolf and her familiar practiced magic and explored the lands together for several moons, their bond becoming unbreakable. Eventually they would stumble upon a pair of young wolves forming their pack, Quill and Mosaic. Calligraphy could feel this is where she was meant to be. The Inktriguing pack had gained it's first member, she took upon the role as beta. Aiding the leaders with her years of experience and magical training. The following year Calligraphy, or Calli for short, would step down from her position and be considered the pack's "Elder". Choosing to help guide the young wolves as they grow into excellent members, the alphas are grateful for her wisdom.
