High atop the sacred mountain within Moon Lust territory, in ancient caves lit by glowing moth lanterns, dwells Whisperblight—a strange and revered priestess wolf who communes with the unseen. Among the cloaked priestesses of the mountain, she is the most gifted and the most enigmatic. Her riddles bend logic, her presence chills the air, and yet her wisdom has never led the pack astray.

She is rarely called Whisperblight anymore; those close to her simply call her Blight, a name that once carried fear but now holds reverence. Her fur is traced with luminous veins of pale blue energy, and her eyes reflect starlight even when the sky is dark.

Blight performs her readings using tarot cards spun from glowworm silk—cards said to hum with energy when fate shifts. Her lantern, ever flickering with ethereal blue moths, is both a guide and a ward, believed to draw in truth and repel deceitful spirits.

The Legend of Her Sight

Long ago, before she joined the priestesses, Blight was just a curious, silent pup wandering the lower glades. One moonless night, drawn by whispers no other could hear, she climbed the mountain alone and vanished into the mists. When the priestesses found her days later, she was different—her fur marked by glowing veins, her voice hushed but heavy with strange knowledge.

She claimed to have spoken with the “Pale Wolf Beneath the Earth,” a forgotten spirit who lives in the roots of the world. As a gift—or a curse—he licked her eyes and whispered her true name. Since then, she has seen beyond what most dare to dream. Blight never left the mountain again.

“The Pale Wolf never sleeps,” she once told a frightened pup. “He only dreams… and sometimes, we dream with him.”

Now, wolves climb the winding path to her cave with questions too heavy to carry alone. And Blight, with her glowing cards and riddled tongue, shows them the way—though never in a straight line.
