Borealis as beautiful as a songbird, Yet as swift of a hunter as a hawk.
Borealis became to be a member of our pack in a touching way... You see, when Borealis was a young pup, she had an amazing gleaming white coat. Everyone wanted to know her, and Everyone wanted to be her. She would turn heads wherever she went.
As a result, Borealis did not really have to work at anything to get what she wanted. She was to become the alpha of her previous pack marrying the fairest wolf in the ranks. He too was captivated by Borealis beauty...
However one dreadful night while gazing in the mirror at her perfect reflection she noticed a single blue hair.
"Strange she thought to herself" she plucked it going about her nightly routine and finally going to bed.
The next morning Borealis awoke to find even more of her perfect white coat was turning blue.
Alarmed she went to the packs Doctor,
There he examined her carefully, the prognosis was not good, according to him. Borealis's coat would continue to change colour, in her eyes losing her beauty.
At first she thought she could cover it up, however just like the doctor said after a month more than half her body was blue with strange markings in the fur pattern.
Borealis stopped going out due to ridicule from fellow pack members.
Even her soon to be mate sopped coming to visit.
Alone and ashamed she turned to hunting small game for comfort. Something she never use to do for herself.
She became a very skilled hunter during her solitude...Borealis spent months cooped up in her den, only going out at night to hunt and leave food for the pups. At this point her whole body had changed her beautiful white coat was now a lush blue with a green swirl just like a stary night.
Borealis hated what she had become, She smashed mirrors, Stopped taking photos and basically became a recluse.
When Borealis did go out she was laughed at, pointed at and ridiculed. Her beauty was gone, that perfect complexation gone..
No one wanted anything to do with her,
Even Borealis's soon to be mate called off the engagement.
She decided at that moment something has to change. So Borealis hatched a plan, Late she would creep out of her den and leave her packs territory. Turning her back on the pack that turned their back on her.
Later that night Borealis did what she planned running as fast as she could from her den and away from everything she had ever known.
It was harder than she expected, tears rolled down her face as she ran deep into the woods.
For days she wandered the woods just distraught and beside herself. Borealis unknowingly wandered onto our packs grounds, Thinking we had an intruder our alphas rushed to encounter the unknown wolf. This is where we first met Borealis. She was crying and terrified as to what would happen, however after a lengthy conversation we decided to allow her into our ranks.
And well the rest is history!

Borealis was vain and absolutely in love with herself.. However after the hardships she faced, Borealis has become quiet and reserved, She cares about her fellow pack members, Works hard with the pups of the pack teaching them to hunt and longer cares about appearance.

Borealis sits on the edge of our packs territory looking off in the distance.
She hunts the small game that encroach on her while she's in deep thought.
