Biography It was a bright early morning. The sun beamed in through the windows. I awoke to Spencer beside me. He smiled, staring into my eyes. "Your beautiful when your sleeping." He said as he ran his fingers through my short dark hair. I felt my cheeks blush. I leaned into kiss him, but my phone rang. It was the hospital. "I have to take this." I picked up my phone and ran to the bathroom. "Hello?" I asked. "Xena Anderson speaking." "We got your results back from the test." The nurse paused for a moment. "The cancer isn't getting better, it's getting worse. Your year to live has turned into a week. It's killing your brain cells fast. There's nothing we can do. I'm sorry darling." I couldn't speak. My phone fell from my hands as I collapsed onto the floor. I was crying hysterical. Spencer opened the door and hugged me. He picked up the phone. After a few minuets of talking to her, he hung up. "Babe, I'm so sorry. You'll get through this, your a fighter Xena. If you need me I'm here for you." I told him to leave, which he wouldn't. I literally pushed him out the door and locked it. He didn't need to see me like this. He didn't need to see what I would do. I walked slowly to the bathroom. Pulled open the drawer, and picked up a bottle. I pored the nearly full bottle out on my palm. One by one I swallowed them, until the pills were gone. I laid on my bed, my vision was blurry form the tears. I glanced at the picture of Spencer on my night stand. And I closed my eyes for the last time as a mortal.
My eyes fluttered open. All I saw was red. I tried to stand up, but I was tied down. There was a mirror on the wall. I looked at myself. I had a large bite mark on my arm. And then the door opened. He just stood there. Staring me down like a piece of meat. His muscles rippled under his black pelt, his yellow eyes stared into my soul. "I'm sure your very confused about what has happened to you, Xena. You probably think this is a dream. That it's not real. But it is. My name is Dominic, leader of the shifters. Spencer is one of us, he found you dead and begged us to bring you back. He knew you probably couldn't forgive him for this. But he couldn't see you dead." "I need to see Spencer!" I yelled He turned and left. Left me in there for what seemed like hours. And then Spencer came. He untied me. We hugged and he explained everything. I could shift forms from a wolf to a human now. My normal life was over. But best of all I couldn't die from the cancer. "I did this because I love you. Please understand that Xenia!" I slapped him. "So you made a choice for me I didn't want. I killed myself for a reason Spencer! I couldn't deal with this world. And now I have to live eternity with this?! Leave!"
I'll regret that moment for the rest of my life. I'm stronger than I'd ever been. Spencer has been long gone. He went off after he told me everything. I regret telling him to leave. I regret not seeing that he loved me. After my training at the headquarters, I left. I traveled deep into the forest, Hoping I'd never be found. But there are societies of wolves here. Darkseekers and Lightbringers. Then there's the wolves caught in the middle, the Neutrals. These wolves have been here for generations. I've been through many packs, just to leave whenever I felt like it. I kept moving hoping not to draw attention, and that nobody would find out what I was. But I found a pack where they knew instantly. Right when that demon saw me she knew. Her pack found me, and confronted me. They said they would keep me safe. And so far they have. I'm respected here, as well as being part of The Warriors. My name is Xena, and I'm a shapeshifter.
