Biography
The Beginning

I couldn't do it. I disobeyed a direct order, knowing that if I was to return, I'd be killed without hesitation. In the end it was worth it. I saved her.

His first solo mission as a high ranking wolf. Of course he was nervous, but also determined to prove himself to the Almightly Alpha. He reigns supreme across the Eastern Woods of the mountain range. The mission was easy enough, kill the princes of the Willow Pack, blame it on the Grove Pack.

It took a few days of survalence to make sure he timed it just right. Tarnish had discovered that the princess loves to wander off and explore while the adults were eating. He noticed she was the mischievous type. She loved to test the limits, which often gotten her in trouble and caused him to almost be caught on more than one occasion.

With a huff, Tarnish shook out his fur. He just finished rolling in the fourth fresh scent mark he found from the Grove Packs border. Giving a sniff of the air, he crinkled his nose. All he could smell was the sickingly sweet scent of the long grasses that the pack calls home. He hated the smell, it was too sweet. He preferred the more earthy smells of the woods; trees, dirt, leaf litter composting.

With one last sniff to make sure his own scent was masked, he started padding towards the clearing he knew the princess would be in. Her favorite spot to think. Many times he had wanted to join her under the moonlight as she just sat there, gazing at the bright stars in the sky. He would have given anything to have one moment with her. But he had a job to do. If he didn't complete this mission, The Almighy would have him tortured and killed.

Okay,he thought, stalking forward quietly, get into pouncing range and go for the throat, I've practiced this maneuver several times in training...........

Tarnish woke to the bright light of the sun shining through the roots over his den. Looking around he saw his mate, Melissa, sleeping peacefully. He quietly got up and walked outside the den. Sitting down he surveyed all those who trusted him to keep them safe. This was his land now, he has, and would kill again to protect them.
