Wind Blowing From The Mountain did not have this name in the beginning. No, the she-wolf was referred to as Frost. She belonged to a small mountain pack, one not many wolves had ever heard of. Wind had left her pack, refusing to have a mate. Not long after reaching the forest covering the land around the mountain she ran into another wolf. Being a hardened wolf from the mountain, she took it upon herself to attack the wolf. Better to rid of them now than to have problems later. It didn't work however, the pain in the other wolf's golden eyes making her stop. The fact that the wolf hadn't fought back puzzled her, it wouldn't have been difficult to fend her off. Then, the wolf had chuckled. Confusion swirled through her eyes. Then, the wolf explained that she looked like his own mother. They lingered around for a little longer, exchanging formalities before separating. It wasn't until a few days later they ran into each other again. After that, they began meeting on a regular basis. Nearly two seasons later, the two had decided to pair up and form their own pack. They set up near the river, deciding that it was the best place for them. That same day, the "River Shine Pack" had been formed.

Wind Blowing From The Mountain is undoubtedly the fiercest member of the pack. It's understandable, the harsh mountain wind hardening her and seeming to freeze most of her heart. The she-wolf wolf in unforgiving, much more strict than her mate. Wind also holds the title for being the strongest fighter in the pack, typically leading hunts herself. Untrusting, she is usually not the most welcoming to new members. Think twice before attempting to cross her or her pack.

Wind Blowing From The Mountain has taken on her mate's belief system. She used to believe in the newer ways, transferring back to the older system. It makes much more sense than the newer, in her eyes. Everyone has to work for their name, earning it rather than simply receiving one. Wind solely prefers this because the names have a more personal touch than generic names given at birth.

Wind Blowing From The Mountain earned her name after telling Ash From Burning Trees where she had come from. The harsh icy winds from the mountain had shaped her, making her a strong and hardy she-wolf. He had then decided that that would be her name, renaming her after they had formed the pack.
