Biography
As a pup he loved to play with feathers so much that it became his prefix when he was old enough to become a warrior. Now as a senior warrior he is nearing the end of his days as a warrior. Today is his elder ceremony.
Sighing softly Splash'feather gets to his paws, his body protesting with every move he made. Ice'star walks over to him. "Are you ready for your ceremony Splash'feather?" He asks softly.
"It's about time I leave the duties of the pack to the other younger warriors. I may be retiring, but that doesn't mean my teeth and claws are no less sharp." Splash'feather replies as he walks out of the den, Ice'star following behind him.
Ice'star nods before leaping onto the tall rock, calling the clan together. The clan gathers and looks up at Ice'star waiting for him to say why he had gathered them.
"Today we are gathered for the ceremony of a warrior retiring to the elders den. Splash'feather, you have served the clan for many a Moon and I ask you this. Are you willing to give up the path of a warrior and start your path as a new elder in the clan?" Ice'star asks.
"I do. I have served this clan for many moons and I am ready to let new younger warriors take my place." Splash'feather replies.
"Then by the powers of Star'clan I hereby make you an elder in both their eyes and ours." Ice'star barks.
Moons later, Splash'feather lays in his nest as he is surrounded by his clanmates. "Goodbye my clanmates...." Splash'feather remarks before drawing his last breath and joining Star'clan's ranks. He had died peacefully with no pain, surrounded by his loving and caring clan mates.
