Kill or Be Killed
If I had of known better, I wouldn't of told Colt my emotions towards him. I was young, ignorant, he's the same age as me! He was mated-for-life with a retarded 2-year-older female! We're both 3, perfect for each other, than Prisc, a low-lifed 5 year old, takes my place in his heart? Yes it hurts, because within all the males I've bred to I haven't loved with all of me, but Colt was different. He was so charming... But now, he's worthless, pathetic... And more. oh, I was angry. Prisc will kill me, Colt won't do anything, & the pack will kill me, too! I'm an Omega, for the rest of my life! It's either be killed or kill..
I run out of my den, stand straight & ears perked at the Alpha Rock. I jog onto the rock, pounding in onto Prisc & Colt eating a Deer carcass. Wolves in-front of the Alpha Rock have already gathered to see a fight. I growl, hackles raised. Prisc surrenders. What? Why??? I lower my hackles right down. Colt just raised his hackles.
"Why did you end our small fight." Colt demanded. I shrugged laughing.
"Felt sorry for her." I said nodding my head at Prisc. But as soon as I turn around for the Cave entrance, I see our whole pack making a path way with all their hackles raised. Great, I'm gonna die. I run out, ears flat, sprinting as fast as I can for the River. My whole pack, betrayed, raced after me. I jumped to the middle of the River, which I quickly swam across. There was Piranhas in the water, so I was safe on-land on the opposite side. I pant, almost crying. The pack turns & approaches Colt, wagging tails like mad dogs. I roll my eyes in disgust, & look out at the Forest. Will I have to do it alone?
