The first time I officially met Anna off of the basketball court was back in seventh grade for confirmation class on a Wednesday night. I was beyond nervous wondering if she would like me, because we were on rival teams after all. However, I had nothing to worry about because her wonderful personality was captivating and she was nothing but friendly. I, like so many others, have been blessed to have had her impact my life in a positive manner. She believed in me when I didn't believe in myself and I will be forever grateful. I will miss her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. RIP <3

Some days are better than others. I, like so many people, miss your wonderful personality and lovely smile. Your birthday passed, and Facebook posts to you filled my feed, and the notification broke my heart. It's so hard not to cry when someone brings it up, they just don't understand how much it still hurts- how much it will always hurt. I found a notecard you wrote me senior year for basketball, as I was cleaning out my drawers to move. It just made all of the good memories flood back to me. I laughed, and cried all at once. And more than anything, I regret not going to that baseball game. It would've been the last time to see you, instead I chose to be lazy. I'm sorry, Anna. <3
