Biography Fenril wasn't born into your average pack. His parents and those in the pack were ones that had stunning coats, they were the 'elite' of the wolf world. Excelling at a young age, he was destined to become an alpha when he was at the right age.
However, tragedy struck in the form of his sire passing of old age. Mourning along with his mother and the rest of the pack, he knew it would take longer for him to find his own place. Shortly after his second birthday, his dam died as well. Taking her death the hardest, he spent more and more time alone, away from his siblings and pack members, just trying to get over her loss.
Rangers came and found him by himself. The darted him with a tranquilizer dart and took him with him after taking all sorts of measurements and blood samples. They fitted him with a radio collar before he was put into the transport. Then he was taken far away from where his birth pack was.
At first he was scared out of his mind, but taking deep breaths as he had been taught to do he calmed right down. Laying down, he waited. Both parents had told him about these transports, that was how they had met after all. He knew he'd be released at some point and there was no point in panicking.
The door opened and he took off like a bullet. He ran a ways before slowing down to a stop. Taking in the sights and smells, his stomach rumbled at him, reminding him he hadn't eaten in some time. With that he started smelling to find the scent of prey so he could eat and then figure out what to do. Catching wind of rabbit, he started tracking it. He managed to ambush it, but it got away and he started giving chase. chasing it, he ended up slipping down a hole into a cave lined with crystals.
Once he was able to get up, he did and explored the caves. Quickly, he realized they'd make excellent dens. He started cleaning it up. There were some really old scents of wolves, as if a pack had once lived there. They were very faint however, and years old. Once the dens were clear, he made sure to clear around the hole he fell into, to prevent it from happening again.
After finishing that he got a drink of water and went on the hunt again. He still hadn't eaten, since he fell in the hole, the rabbit had gotten away. He knew he would also need to mark his territory to prevent others from trying to take what he had found.
