Biography
Old Grandmother Coralie is the only living wolf to have seen the Bron lands for herself. She was the great-grandaughter of Prince Davide Taliesan and Eudora Tereza, last of Ford Moreau and Selena Nihlus's bloodline. Coralie was named after Eudora's sister, Cora, whose bloodline was forever lost. Coralie had lived and bore pups in another pack, but the need of the Bron descendants and the strain upon the Dragonbone Mountain pack wore on her heart. The she-wolf who bore her this news bore her granddaughter, Brea Sahra. Coralie was the last warrior of the dead pack, who honored her great grand-sire, the Glorybound. The Dragonbone Mountains struggled to survive, and it was Coralie alone who sustained the pack through winter. She took Prince Lamorak Samuel as her pupil--another Davide Taliesan descendant. How ironic that the blood of Davide's first mate, Larissa, and the blood of Davide's second mate, Eudora, would unite at last in a common cause. Sadly, Coralie never met her granddaughter, as Brea died after giving birth to her own son, Eliam Calder. Coralie had thought she would reconcile with her male descendants, but to her pain, they could not forgive her for Brea's death. She had come too late. Eliam, Eurion, and Jonathan did not hate Coralie either...in many ways they were grateful, but they were also distant. Nor was it jealousy of Lamorak's relationship with her, as Lamorok himself did not love Coralie--but rather saw her as a necessary part of their salvation. Lamorok had wished he could have saved the Dragonbone Mountains alone, though he knew it would have been impossible. Denied a close relationship with her biological descendants, Coralie instead was welcomed with the highest hour by King Anastasius and Queen Kayin Europa, along with the Crown Princess, Titania Ventress and her beloved Prince Vaughn. Vaughn was Lamorok's brother. She also enjoyed the company of Lamorok's mate Rhoswen Celimine and son, Talen Luminary. The six wolves (plus Lamorok and Morella (Vaughn and Titania's daughter) created a family for Coralie, of which she became their adopted grandmother--though in the middle of her life in age. It was Coralie who contemplated the creation of Grandmothers and Grandfathers, those who would pass on the stories and wisdom and skills of their foreborers. The first five wolves included Coralie (Aemon), Zorah (Justinian), Lumos Innes (Mordred), Wildling Hale (Morwenna), and Druscilla Lovinia (Aurelius). Along with King Anastasius (Morayn) and Queen Kayin (Bastion and Cassimar), they maintained the vital bloodlines of all Bron and Valmara founders.
