Creature- Winged black panther
An Egyptian legend, both nurturing and violent. She embodies the shadows, inhaling light just as her mythological counterpart would draw fire. She protects the good souls from beasts' detection by limiting the area's visibility. It is up to them to find their way out of Purgatory, but as long as they remain in her territory they are saved of torment.
Sphinx and Bastet are pair bonded, their territories blend near the edge of Purgatory and it is there that they often can be found together, inseparable.
