Character Description

Biography
Darker both in mind and body than her parents and siblings, jewels longed for more action and community with wolves that value strength of mind and body. Disliked by her father and babied by her mother, she wanted to be free of the ties and the loose father figure of his pack. She yearned to join the Darkseeker and one of their packs, if they would accept her into their midst. One day, sick of the quiet melancholy that was hanging around the den while her parents were hunting, she left. She managed to take down a small squirrel on his way out; she'd practiced enough with the small mice that were dumb enough to wander into the cave. Too soon, though, jewels was in the same situation as all wolves who had tried to search for or leave their territory- she was lost.
Wandering aimlessly for days, she finally picked up a scent trail. They led away from the sinking sun and towards the darkening woods. Desperate, she followed it until the last traces vanished into thin air. She fell, exhausted, in darkness, and woke to darkness. But also to voices.
jewels woke to cold, icy eyes watching her, studying her. She waited, petrified of what was happening. But in cold silence she was ripped off the ground by her scruff and carried into the thick shadows of a small cave.
Thus she was welcomed into the den of Holland, finding both her home and her spirit revived in the thick cloud of secrets and darkness that followed the Darkseeker.
