Biography
Tesha Velius was the first 'Mistress' to be brought to the Bron lands from the Red Wastes. Whereas past Mistresses and mothers of Kings were often brought from the Dragonbone Mountains, Tesha arrived from the Red Wastes to mate with Prince Sariel Narcissus. The golden male disliked his Mistress from the beginning, finding her clashing against him in every way. It was his own arrogance and self-importance that resulted in the requirement that he select a mate or Mistress from the Red Wastes--instead of the Dragonbone Mountains. Sariel claimed that the Bron wolves outshone all packs in their beauty--especially the starved, dirty, and sustained wolves of the Red Wastes. His statements were overheard--and to mend the damage, Queen Elaena Morning ordered that any pup Sariel claimed as his heir must have Red Waste blood. The Queen did not care which wolf he selected--so Sariel was shrewd and calculated. He bought the most fertile and talented of the Red Waste Mistresses for himself. She provided him with a son, that he named Silvanus Viorel. Of course, Silvanus was only deemed a success by his father because he had his golden pelt and deep blue eyes. Only markings of silver on his face resembled his own mother. Tesha was distant from her first Bron son. Sariel raised him from the time he was weaned, and Tesha knew better than to become attached. Elaena offered her a remarkable consolation after Sariel--to mother a future heir of the Bron house. She was to mate with Prince Aemond Gideon. Aemond was far more likable and gentle with Tesha. He admired her many talents, and unusual red fur--something nonexistent in the Bron pack. Tesha became pregnant once again. She gave Aemond a son, named Mendoza Marudeva, and the pair were truly happy. A second pup by Aemond was born in the first month of Spring, a daughter even more blod red than her brother.
