story of Icarus
Daedalus and his son Icarus were held captive by King Minos but Daedalus was a great inventor and created two pairs of wings from wax from candles and feathers from birds that fly above one pair for himself and the other for Icarus but before their escape Daedalus told his son DON'T FLY TOO HIGH OUR THE SUN WILL MILT THE WAX AND DON'T FLY TOO LOW OR THE WATER FROM THE SEA WILL MAKE THE FEATHERS WET but as they flew over everyone below Icarus felt like a god and flew higher and higher ignoring his father's warnings and as he got closer to the sun the wax on his wings started to milt and his wings fell apart and so Icarus also fell while his father watched on as he could do nothing to save his son.

I mainly got the idea to call this wolf Icarus because of the game Kid Icarus uprising where you play as on angel named Pit that can't fly without the aid of a goddess named palutina the goddess of light.
