When Scarlette was an older pup she ran away from her parent's pack, excited by the thought of adventure. Several days after she left she stumbled into a Mountain Lion's den unaware and barely escaped wither life. The other pack members who'd been looking for her found her wounded and exhausted, running from the Mountain Lion.
