Biography Born a lone wolf, or at least that is all she remembers. She never knew her father, always away from the den. Her mother was distant, favoring her brother, but caring enough to train her to survive. But all of this, although the lessons are still there, is getting fuzzy as the suns pass. Her memories really begin when she is about a year old, old enough to eat instead of relying on her mother. Her first lone hunt was successful and must have proved something to her mom, for that night she too left, her brother too. Out of necessity she quickly learned how to hunt better, mostly small prey, but occasionally she got lucky with a bit bigger. She traveled alone for a few years until she saw red earth trapped in a snare, swiftly breaking the line with its teeth. The hunters returned to check their trap and some maternal instinct came over her. She soared through the gap between the hunters and the wolf trying to lead the wolf to a nearby stream where they could hide, without revealing her home. The wolf was smart enough to swiftly follow. He, for it was a male wolf, didn't know the area well as he was just passing through and was grateful for the assist. She helped him to remove the last of the snare and they got to know each other very well. They were both lone wolves at an early age so he respected her wishes and didn't trespass on the snowy hills to the North, but made arrangements to share the stream. It became their place to meet up or at least leave messages for each other. After a couple of months, she told him that she had a surprise for him and they should meet up the next month. She had carried something white and red down to the stream a month later and waited for him to come by for they were to meet up the next day. Unfortunately, that night humans had gotten careless and started a fire nearby. Feeling too hot she woke to find herself surrounded by fire and let out a plaintive cry to warn everyone of the fire so they don't wake to the same fate. She was still trying to find a way to get her present out of the fire ring when he came swiftly through the flames to her side. At first, she was angry and appalled that he would end his life, but he reassured her that she could soar through it and they would both be safe. Realizing his skill and knowing just the right spot in the fire, he could keep her bundle safe, so she asked him to carry it. He was shocked, thrilled, and excited to find that she had brought their pup. He was a father! After getting mother and son out of the fire he realized he didn't want to leave her to raise the pup on her own as her father had. Instead, they formed a pack and have been together ever since, expanding their territory. As she grew older and her pups matured and left she began to get more laid back. She no longer fights for dominance in the pack, becoming instead the nanny, showing the next generation their territory, and sometimes on border excursions too.
