Chann is highly favored by Sornya due to his high spirit and passion for being the number one male. Chann aggressively keeps his place as number four currently, and will stop at nothing to make sure that he will someday be the top wolf.
Him and Tekano share a deep rivalry with each other, as they are of the exact same ranking.
With the birth of his younger brother, Bane, Chann effectively had his ranking pushed down. This angered him beyond reason, but instead of reacting violently, he has come up with a better solution. His strange little brother is strong, but docile. He plans to keep on his good side. After all, as long as he's there, Tekano now is no longer in the primary hunting party, and he can live with that.
