Brownpelt actually had a litter of two but her first born was stillborn, that caused her to spoil her surviving son rotten.

Greymountain grew beliving he deserved the world just for existing at one time he even demanded to be given the title of heir.

Brightfuture of course refused since she had three pups of her own any of them more prepared to be rulers than Greymountain will ever be.

Greymountain went mad, it was the first time he had been denied something and he did not like it not one bit.

To put mathers simply Greymountain became a trouble maker of the pack nothing serious enough to get him exiled or seriously punished but enough to give him a bad reputation in the pack if only Greymountain was the only affected by his reputaion.
