Biography Daughter of Ranboo. Keep for breeding purposes. "Eryn?" Earth whispered, crawling up to her foster mother quietly. "Hmm?" Answered the elderly she wolf, looking at Earth. "Who was Philza again? Wasn't he the.. the legend of the pack?" Earth blinked innocently as Eryn hesitated, then nodded. "Yes, little one. Philza was the legend of the pack. He fought and strived to protect us, along with my grandfather, Charmander, and his cousin, Newro. But, although Charmander and Newro were said as the creators of the pack, Philza was the ruler. He was the one who created our traditons, of how we may have ranks, but the oldest will always have the final decision, and so on and so forth." Earth blinked excitedly. "Oh! That rule! I remember! I always thought it was a bit silly, but tell me more, Eryn! We all know your the alpha, because of your age, but you also hold the title of alpha, alongside Crow Hunter. Why is that? "Pack tradition is that no matter the dominance, the eldest is the leader. But the Alphas receive visions and prophecies. These visions and prophecies are given by our ancestors, and they are to help the alphas guide the pack and act as a council to the leader, so we are all in unity and guide." "Well, right after my closest friend, my cousin, the former Alpha female died of battle injuries, I was given a vision I was to become the next alpha by my mother, Charmander's Cherish. I was thrilled. The next day, after the Alpha male, Skeppy, received a similar vision, I was crowned Alpha female. There were.. doubts. Many, many, many doubts, young Earth. It was well known I was the second eldest and some pack members believed it was a set-up for me to become Leader. I, of course, knew it was real." Earth held her breath as Eryn looked pained, a expression flitting across her yellow-cream colored face. "The next day, though, BadBoyHalo died. Our beloved Leader passed in her sleep. It was uproar, but finally, I became Leader and Alpha female." Earth couldn't help but gasp, "Wow.. all that pain, and yet you still became the packs biggest inspiration!" The young brown pup suddenly became quiet, pining down. "Little Earth?" Eryn whispered, "Are you okay?" She was quiet, until her quiet voice came: "Have you seen my mommy in your visions? Or my daddy?" Eryn flinched. Ranboo had always been strong, a prideful battle wolf, but she had caught a terrible sickness as she became expectant with Earth and her siblings. The pups had been born late, too large for Ranboo, and the elderly she-wolf, Eryn's closest advisor and friend, passed only a few weeks after having her pups. It was almost a month after her death, but Eryn's heart still broke. It was nothing compared to the truth. "Yes, little Earth, I have not seen your father, as he was not from this pack, but I have seen Ranboo." Eryn paused. Was it right to tell Earth what Ranboo and Philza had told her and Crow Hunter? Earth had a right to know, but.." Earth looked at the Leader with wide, hopeful eyes. "She told me, that you were destined to be the next Pack Legend, after Philza and Charmander and Newro, that you were destined to save us." Earth blinked with wide, shining, ice white eyes. "Really!?" She barked happily. "Shh, settle down.." Eryn looked at the pups beside Earth, quiet and asleep. Her siblings. Eryn had fostered them until now. Little did they know, but as Pack Tradition was, the pack had gathered and talked about what they would do to this year's batch of pups. Who to keep and who to send off to other packs? Only Earth and her own pup, Shade, had been voted to be kept. The other 5 had been voted to be sent away. They already had packs lined up, excited to have Ranboo's and Charmander's blood in their packs. They were, after all, very famous wolves. There were two other pups they had adopted from a vicious bone farm, Moxxie and Ernanten. She tried to convince herself that they would take care of Earth and Shade, but still.. Their siblings would be taken. Her pups would be taken. Yet another thing she loved dearly, ripped away from her paws. Eryn let the grief and dizziness cross her face for a second, before she nuzzled Earth and settled down. "Sleep now, little Earth. We have a long day tomorrow."
