Biography
Menkent is an English version of the Arabic word مَنْكِب‎ (mankib) for 'shoulder'. The star, Theta Centauri/Menkent is in the constellation Centaurus, sitting at the place where the shoulder would be.

When he joined the pack, he was originally meant to only join temporarily in something of a foster system. Phaethon I enjoyed Menkent's presence, though, and Phainon I didn't dislike him (which was a shocker), so he was allowed to stay.

Jishui, him, and Celaeno have created something of a friend group within the Astra Planeta. He's an adamant protector of his friends and one of the rare few who that Phainon I doesn't hate.
