He had been wondering around till he came to a place called Sanctuary. There he was given food to eat and a place to rest but was told "This is not where you will stay. Soon a pack may come for you and give you a home. Whether you stay there or not is up to you," A she-wolf from the SilverBirch Grizzwal pack came and asked if there were any hunters willing to go with them. So, Jackpot (age 3yo) volunteered to go. "We have a lot of new pups that need training. This will be you job." the She-wolf said to him. "I can hunt and start the pups training, but I am not an expert hunter." She looked at him knowing it was to late to send him back and told him, "Don't tell Alpha Bear that, he wants these pups to be better, like the original wolves that started this pack. He wants a great hunter to teach them besides himself." Jackpot didn't know if he could this job or not, but this pack was offering him a place to call home. On Jan 21,2022 in the afternoon a messenger arrived to let Jackpot (now 4yo) know that 'Feather' of the McLain Team 2 pack had given birth to a male pup and had named him 'Togo'. He was glad to know he has a son even if he could not return to see him. He thanked the messenger and gave him some food and water before he left back to the other pack. It had been a rough winter with lots of the white fluffy stuff that tasted of water. It had also been a sad winter as well. It was difficult to get to the McLain Team 2 pack to visit so we had to wait till the spring thaw so I could go see my family there. But when Jackpot got there, he was greeted with sad news. "Feather and Tongo were out with a hunting party when it happened. The snowstorm came in fast and only a few made it back to the pack's den. I'm sorry but they did not return and were considered among the dead." He had no place to go to morn them as their bodies had not been recovered. On May 2,2022 Bia (age15yo) of the "Star Runners" was out looking some small game just as Jackpot (age12yo) came across her doing the same thing. He had been alone for a few months. They spoke and both were interested in each other and as the Moon Goddess gave second chances she was his. Word reached Jackpot that on May 5th he was a father of two female pups and one male pup. Fri May 13, 2022 05:48 PM It was a cool Spring evening when "Jackpot' (now13yo) met up with 'Bia' (now16yo) of the "Star Runners" pack. She was hoping he would mate with her again, this would be their second litter together. He was willing to mate with Bia and hoped that she and the pups, including his other three with her (now2yo) would visit soon after having them. What a great night. Jackpot likes to hunt but like to play by running through the field above the cliff that the den is in. He is not a confident with himself as he should be but won't let others see it. He like being alone with his thoughts and hide for the pups when training is over, or he'll have to respond to questions he may not have the answer to. June 10, 2022 The Alpha is dead. The hunting party had gone up against a large buck with lots of horns but they were unsuccessful. Alpha Bear (age19yo) had clawed the buck and in return was gored in the chest. He died from loss of blood and his ribs being pulled out of his chest. The pack mourned the Alpha's loss. Jackpot (age15yo) was given the spot temporarily. The pack decided to name a Grizzwal to the Alpha spot. So, they named 'Silver Grizzwal Warrior' (age17yo). 'Bethany ' (age yo) mourned her for mate Bear, and willingly stepped down from Luna position when 'Tinsel Sands Warrior' (age16yo) was named. (July 08, 2022, 1130amGST/ 0930amPST)
