Biography
Well... This was unexpected. The pack was in the middle of moving closer to the dragon's den that they were now guarding when a strange, marble-coated wolf walked up to them. His copper eyes shone like fire, but they were welcoming in an odd way. Hodr immediately ran to this new wolf as though he were an old friend and quite proudly proclaimed this newcomer to be none other than Thanatos, the death god who had protected the pack in its earliest years. After some questioning, this... actually appeared to be true. The pack rejoiced at this obvious show of approval by the gods and welcomed their new pack member with open arms. Well, almost. Draugr doesn't like him much.
Unlike his first run at life, Thanatos's second life seemed uneventful and rather dull. Then he met Maua. The Goddess of Magic, trapped in a stone. After showing her who he was, Thanatos came to see Maua as something of a close friend. He felt sorry for her, though, being trapped in a stone as she was. He decided he would try to help her.
It was during this process of helping a friend that Thanatos began to reveal to Maua not only what he was, but who. Thanatos was a legend even before he was a God, though many of those legends were not good. In life, he was a tyrant dragon who fancied himself a God. He conquered several kingdoms and ruled his own special corner of the world. He fought off heroes and villains alike to keep himself and his subjects safe, but he also demanded hefty sacrifices. He was also, well... a dragon. Kidnappings were common. He wasn`t a good man, and certainly wasn`t a pious one. However, while life gave him power, in death he was all but forgotten. His empire crumbled without him, and the Gods certainly weren`t pleased with him. Luckily for him, though, they decided to give him a chance. Because of all the lives Thanatos had taken, he was given the job of doing so in the afterlife. Now the newest addition to the pantheon as the God of Death, Thanatos faced a long road that, eventually, would lead him to redemption.

Thanatos is calm, collected, and quiet. He is wise beyond his apparent years, and loves to learn. He enjoys hunting more though, which makes sense. He's not very social, but that doesn't stop him from making a few friends every now and then, and he always tries to keep up with the times despite his age.

Thanatos, to keep up with the rest of the pack, has allowed some of his powers to show. A chilling aura constantly floats around him, but it's usually very faint. However, whenever he hunts, this aura flairs up and creates an oppressive field that freezes creatures in place, preventing them from running away. Needless to say, he brings home more food than anyone else.
