The rustling of loose brush twitched as a figure rummaged past and walked on, following a stream down the mountainside into the valley below. The pines that thinned now grew more and more with lush greens. The figure was a shaded red with black markings that faded into his pelt. Almost making him a strange leopard sort of feline, but the lupine had an odd Defect that stood out, white patched one side of his face, his glistening orange gaze in one side and a bland chocolate gaze in the other.

White patched his haunch as he moved it glistened in the sun and silvery in the moon. His audits twitched as he lifted his mis-matched face to the sky then the valley below, he had traveled for so long. For a month he had walked or loped across the countryside. Only stopping to sleep and eat. No with his journey done. He sighed, breathing in...he let a bellowing howl into the air, releasing his presence to all who lived here.
