After Shuichi completed his training in another pack, he decided to come back to his home pack. He missed his mate, Irene and his son, JC. Shuichi was happy to see them, but JC showed the opposite. He showed hatred towards his father.
"How could you abandon us? For 9 years!" JC felt betrayed and heartbroken.
Shuichi tried to explain his reasoning for doing so, but was shut down by JC each time. Irene told Shuichi to give him time and space. Shuichi was happy with his mate and agreed. Everytime Shuichi would bump into JC, he would greet him friendly and be the best father he could be. JC would ignore him at first, but soon grew to like him. He didn't feel a strong connection, like his mother did, but JC learned that his father was a good guy and did what he could for his family. JC showed Shuichi his mate, Atsushi, and his pups Akari and Mittens. Akari and Mittens show great respect towards him. Atsushi also gets along with him.
