Biography
Hope was born into a litter of three as the youngest, all girls. She is the a daughter of two alphas of a pack, and belongs to their first litter. Her birth name was Radar. She had a pleasant life at the beginning of her puphood. She would sometimes play with her sisters, though she preferred to do more quiet things, like drawing in the dirt with her nose.
Her pleasant life changed, however, when one day, a rival pack confronted her pack with hostility. They threatened to slaughter everyone unless they could take her as their own, which she didn't find out until she was older. All she knew in the moment was that she was being handed away to a group of ravenous, bloodthirsty beasts...
In that pack, they beat the poor little pup. Her stand-in mother scorned her and bit her whenever she made a mistake. Her "siblings" taunted and bullied her. She was shown no kindness or love. Finally, she couldn't stand it anymore. When everyone was asleep, she bolted, running as fast as her little legs would carry her. The guards standing watch over their sleeping pack spotted her immediately and sounded a warning howl, summoning a hunting party to retrieve Radar. The only reason she escaped is because she tripped and fell into a wide river on their territory. It swept her away, throwing her into a jagged rock on the way and putting a deep gash in her shoulder.
Radar barely survived being swept away by the river's current. She was eventually washed to shore, waterlogged and bleeding from her shoulder gash. Luckily for her, the flow of the river took her closer to her real pack. She wandered for two days, starving and weak, until she finally collapsed in her pack's territory. Her father found her and rushed her to the beta female, who was able to heal Radar.
Radar was very happy to be reunited with her pack. However, once she was old enough to be on her own, she left them, feeling like she didn't really belong with a family that would give her up so easily. She had an emotional goodbye with her parents and siblings, including the other litter her mother had birthed in her absence. Then she was on her way. Before she left, she changed her name to Hope, symbolizing the hope she had for her future.
For a time, she was part of one pack, but she soon learned that it wasn't the right pack for her. After more wandering, she came across the alphas of her current pack, who gave her a warm welcome. She is now the beta female.
A while after she joined this pack, she learned that her mother had been killed by a deer stag. She mourned her, and mourns her still.

Hope, for the most part, is quiet and reserved, though not shy. She enjoys time to herself, but loves her packmates. She is surprisingly determined behind her calm and collected exterior. She refuses to give up on challenges presented to her, and contains an inner fire that is hard to find in others.
