The Scandal: Pt 1 (Look to Dark Bringer's bio for part 2)

Legacy yawned and stretched as her fiery eyes opened wide in the dark cave, and her ears listened to the sound of even breathing all around her. All those except for the one she was searching for were present.
She tried to shake away the worry clawing at her mind. He must have simply woken up early and gone out. After his mate died, he had been this way. Legacy was too new to the pack to know his mate personally, but, from what she had heard, the female had been a kind and intelligent leader. Legacy wished she could know the female that Dark Bringer seemed to constantly long for.
Her stormy pelt blended with the shadows as she slunk out of the cave, seeing the dark figure sitting at the edge of the river. He flicked an ear, showing that he was aware of her presence. Legacy approached him slowly, sitting by his side and admiring the older male, whom she looked up to. "What's on your mind?" she inquired, her dark eyes inquisitive.
The alpha turned his silver gaze towards her, "I simply remember that I used this river to teach my son how to swim. Heaven knows where he is now..." he trailed off, his thoughts wandering to his lost son, Coy, who had moved to another pack to be with his lover, Ocean.
"Ah, never mind, an old man simply remembering the past," he said with a slight chuckle, his muzzle, though heavily peppered with grey, holding a small smile; and his silver eyes, though slightly fogged over due to age, still twinkled with amusement. "Nothing that you, a young new member, should be fretting over."
He turned and walked towards the cave, and, as Legacy watched him walk away, she noticed for the first time that his frame appeared small and weak. Though he had been large and buff in his prime, the alpha was losing his touch. He was still strong, of course, but he was quickly fading. His movements were slightly jerky, with his paws stumbling ever so noticeably with every step.
She couldn't help but feel a stir of emotion, even seeing him in this weakened state. She blushed at the thought, trying to shove the thoughts and feelings down into the pit of her mind. Legacy knew the alpha only had so long, and she didn't look forward to the day he was gone.

Pup: Your Neighborhood Mela - She loves her son with all her heart. If she could, she would give him the normal, happy life he deserves.
Pup's Sire: Dark Bringer - While she loves the alpha very much, she wishes he would be more caring towards their son and stop giving her the cold shoulder as he's been since the pup was born.
