Darkstar has reached her final days of leadership. Pacing around her den, she frantically thinks of a strong, worthy female wolf that can carry on Windcrest's legacy. "Echoshine? No, she's not always brave. Hopepaw? Wait, she's not even a warrior. Silverfire? Maybe, with Snowstar's bloodline and all that. Blackfur? Nah, she's a nursery queen," she thought. "Only Silverfire seems to be alright... Hmm, are there any more she-wolves? Oh wait, Whitestrike! The courageous, skillful female. She must be Windcrest's next leader!"
And Whitestrike was chosen. Darkstar went by her warrior name Darklight again, and watched her new pack leaders create a new story for her pack.
