Biography
Young Aurora hopped into the river, splashing her puphood friend, Reali. Reali smiled, and shook the water off of his shining amber coat, violet eyes shining in the sun. She tackled Aurora into the river, the cold penetrating her coat. Aurora smiled back, and splashed Reali again. The two pups played in the river for a long time, dunking each other, and occasionally catching small fish. Reali had managed to catch three, and Aurora swiped one. While Aurora made off with her stolen fish Reali swam to a large rock in the middle of the river to finish off her remaining two. when Aurora was done snacking, she leaped at Reali, but fell short of the rock and landed laughing in the chilly water. Reily pounced on top of her, and for a moment she sank underwater. Little bubbled floated from her nose as she prepped, then, in one fluid movement she threw off her friend and landed on the shore. She shook herself out, and invited Reali to go see a special flower...
Two years later, Reali was already Beta and getting ready to challenge the Alpha. Her coat always shone, like polished amber, but her violet eyes had lost their friendly glint. She now had a small scar behind her right ear, from the time she got in a fight with a Sun Bear. The Alpha had no scars. They said she was untouchable, but no one really knew. Alpha had slain the Sun Bear that gave Reali her scar. The alpha had a grey pelt, flecked with shimmers of pale blue. She looked like fog. Her eyes were acid green, and shown against her misty coat like emerald fire. The pack lowered their heads as Alpha walked past, cardinal feathers adorning her paws. Alpha's mate was right behind her. He was quite impressive, really. It looked like a fire raged in his fur, but the effect was rather muted by how he kept his green eyes on the ground, and kept his ears and tail tucked away. The Alpha had the fight ready in a matter of minutes. It was done just as fast. Alpha had no blood on her, aside from the ruby that stained her claws. Reali was dead. Several wounds including a slash across her wind pipe had taken life from her. Aurora was heartbroken.
As Aurora matured, she began to understand the cycle of life and death more clearly, and began to see the spirit of Reali walking alongside her. Later in her life, more and more spirits emerged. Aurora dedicated the remainder of her to teaching pups about death, and the spirits. The soul of her lost friend following her heart.
