Spottedbright was brought into Windcrest when he was very young, and was raised by Snowmist/star and Clawthroat/star (he left Windcrest and joined another pack). They were just like his parents, and they raised him well. He trained hard and got good stats, allowing him to be Beta male after his fostered father left.
But Spottedbright thinks that he deserves a higher position: the male Alpha.
Once he set his goal, Spottedbright began to train secretly everyday. Soon, his battle experience surpassed the leader at his time, Fallenstar, and got even better.
When Spottedbright thought he was ready, he challenged Fallenstar and defeated him, winning the rank of his dream, the Alpha. Spottedbright became Spottedstar, and Fallenstar became Fallenstripe.
Snowstar/mist was very proud of him, and he is pretty sure that he won't lose his position for at least a while.
But what he didn't realize was that the Alpha male position is every male wolf's target, and there are many youngsters in AmberPack (formerly Windcrest) that could be Alpha once Spottedstar leaves the world. For now, he's probably the best all-round wolf.
Even though Spottedstar is doing well, someone seems to be doing better than him: Fallenstripe's son, Cedarclaw.
Cedarclaw has been drastically improving his skills recently, and has gotten better than Spottedstar, so Spottedstar has to train harder to beat Cedarclaw, or else, Cedarclaw might take his place.
And the reason why Spottedstar may be slowing behind is because... He has a love interest, and they're expecting a pup. With Darklight, who is slightly younger than him.
Darklight is the current Beta female, who will take the throne once Snowstar dies. The black and brown-striped she-wolf is nice and great at exploring too, so Spottedstar's foster mother, Snowstar, definitely approves. They have known each other for a long time, but didn't really care for each other until now.
