China Rose isn't your average wolf. He was hunted for his coat. I think they call it Emerald yea? Well anyways they didn't know of is high skill. He was fast, almost too quick for his own good. Let me tell you the tales of the time Emeralds were hunted...
Here it all started back before humans walked the earth. Emerald wolves roamed along with other colors such as Ruby, Amethyst, Crystal etc. They all roamed free. All free to do as they please. They were even here a bit before the dinosaurs. After the years these human like creatures developed. They were flat faced and didn't have a snout like them. Confusion swept over the crystalline wolves as they all didn't know where they were coming from or how to stop them from coming. So the pack went and hid. The cave was large and gloomy, water dripped in the back of the cave. Vines covered the entrance. Panic was filled within the pack for the whole time of being there.
After a few hundred years of hiding the humans found the crystalline wolves. They sprung from the cave and bolted off. Worried they all sprung up and ran. The leaders of the crystalline pack made sure their crystalline coats were visible so they could lure the flat faced creatures away from their pack. Most of the females stuck together and ran away as fast as their legs could carry them. All they knew is to follow the head female of the group. All of their goals was to just get away and stay safe. The females got to a separate cave and hid. The males ran. They bolted between tree's and rocks. They jumped fallen logs. The flat faced creatures followed with hoots and hollering. The males ran faster as they saw really tall grass. They all took off into the grass. Not long did they have to run to lose the flat face creatures.
They made their way back to their females. But the next morning as the crystalline males and females went out to hunt, little did they know that they would come back without a few members. They fan after an animal. This animal was weird looking but hey it was food. The ruby male and female jumped up to pounce on it. The female yelped as she fell to the ground. Blood surrounded her. She was being hunted and so was the ruby male. The humans knew that their coats would be worth a fortune. The humans grabbed the ruby female and drug her away. She just watched the others stare in disbelief. The ruby male watched his mate get dragged away. He whined and all the wolves lowered their head.
A few days passed. The ruby male was still mourning the death of his beloved mate. The opal pair tried comforting him but no use. The ruby male always went out by himself. So he was an easy target for the hunters. Eventually the crystalline pack tucked themselves away for good. They had every wolf but the rubies.
Millions of years passed. Modern world set in. The crystalline wolves had to go go go as because their home was being taken bit by bit. The humans eventually discovered them. Legendary they were indeed. Since this was modern day the humans developed new traps. Every single crystalline wolf was hunted except the Emerald. Their coats blended with their surroundings. Multiple Emerald wolves were born. This included China Rose. His coat was different though. He had spots and more of a pattern! His pack saw him as a threat and abandon him.
He grew on his own. Learning to not need any other wolf, so no trust was ever built. That's until a specific some one came into the cards. Trentren Vilu, an Emerald female. As China Rose hunted he realized another wolf was hunting the same deer. He snarled at her before speeding up. She was no match for him so she backed off. He could tell that she wasn't descended from him cause if she was she would be way faster than that. Trentren Vilu huffed and went to go find other prey.
China Rose realized that she was Emerald as because her green coat shimmered and caught his eye. So he decided to follow her. Trentren Vilu ignored the male following her and went after a doe. The doe was way faster than the poor Emerald female so she plopped down. Her hear swerved to listen to the male Emerald coming up to her. She huffed and watched him bolt after the doe. As easy as it looked the poor gal still couldn't catch her own prey.
She got up and turned away. Not wanting to seem weak. She was an independent wolf and it would stay that way. Trentren Vilu didn't need no mate. She laid down in a cave and watched as China Rose drug the deer to her. With a blink of an eye China Rose was gone. She was surprised and got up and started eating.
China Rose know hunted everyday. Bringing his future mate deer, rabbits, squirrels etc. He did this everyday until one day she just accepted him. Trentren Vilu took to him as no form of threat anymore. They were just 2 Emeralds now living...
