Ever since Magaska was blossoming, he never appeared boisterous like a typical puppy, He never wanted to play. He would preferably relax and observe the light that flittered through the tree leaves and needles, and the rivulet that sliced through the woods in front of the den. The alphas fretted that he would not make a good explore wolf, as he never appeared to show an investment in hunting.
When queried regarding why he doesn't prefer killing small prey, his answer was innocent. If they aren't harming any of us, why should we hurt them?
the alphas groaned but had an idea. They took him out exploring. They encountered an unruly mountain lion, who lurched at one of the alphas.
