Darkened Woods followed Rogue out on a patrol, one of the few he could follow her on now. " What happened is in the past Rogue...trust me " he said quietly. Rogue sighed " I trust you but don't try to be a hero if I get into trouble, fight with me so we can help each other and stay near me ok " she replied. Darkened Woods nodded " ok, thank you Rogue " She looked back at Darkened Woods and stopped walking for a moment " there's no need to thank me, sorry for being so...difficult after the incident " her tone had turned to one of guilt. " It's not your fault that the pup died, he was doing what he thought was best and in the end he died and there was nothing that could have been done " he replied. " There was something... " Rogue said then narrowed her eyes, the left one turned a dark shade of deep blood red. He backed up, ears perked and eyes widened " Rogue?". " Don't worry Darkened Woods...but this is one reason why no one should play the hero and try to help me when I am in trouble " she said as her left eye slowly turned back to the usual dark sapphire color it always was. Darkened Woods calmed though part of him was still deeply shaken by what he had felt when her eye changed...terror. Rogue sighed " a myth would explain it and me, but I do not wish to speak of it " . Darkened Woods nodded " Ok...we should continue the patrol " . Rogue nodded then turned around and continued walking, Darkened Woods followed quietly as his mind pondered what had just happened.
