The Baraq pack's wolves are larger than average, the way they're built are for fighting, protecting and killing.
Which is why Cobalt is as large as he is, despite being a normal wolf.

The way Cobalt joined Lycan Bloods is a wonder, with Rini not liking newcomers and Cobalt being the way he is - the thought had always been "no way". But a certain day when Ruid was out looking for herbs to brew with outside of the Lycans border and onto other wolves lands he had gotten caught by one of their Border Patrols - and just by pure chance Cobalt walked by and decided to make a distraction so that he could escape without any bigger issues.
That lead to him getting into facing the wolf who suprisingly hadn't called on the other patrollers yet.
It escalated into a fight where Cobalt was the winner.
He rushed out of their lands to avoid more problems.
But for some reason Cobalt got curious and went after Ruid - he wasn't sure if he was in a pack or not.
He found him digging for herbs not too far away, he approached him and thanked him for the brave thing he had done for him, and offered to let him join the Lycans.
After a long conversation with arguments between Skye and Rini - it ended up with Rini walking off with his tail between his legs and Skye letting Cobalt join as the Border Patrol.

Cobalt is a very straight forward, bold and fierce wolf.
He never backs down to a fight and gladly accepts both quests and challenges, but that does not stop him from being as curious as he can be.
Everything seems to be of interest, just a day ago he had to bark at a woodpecker - it attacked him for it.
Through the days he's been working as border patrol, he has chased away more wolves than he can count but he can't deny it, it is kind of fun.
They usually come around at noon to try and steal their pray.
He has a really special connection to Ruid and Skye for letting him join - of course he could've survived as a lone wolf too but he's with them now and he wouldn't change it for anything.
He's already swore to be loyal to them for as long as he remains alive and he plans to keep that promise.
