Like his fellow Greek wolves in his home pack, Eta is the the seventh star in a constellation known as "Eta Carinae." Whilst 'Eta' is his common name, he can also be represented by his symbol of "H" and his lesser symbol of "η." Otherwise known as "Lesser eta" or just "eta."

Eta is very bold in contrast to his dark coat of fur. A wolf who sticks out in a group eerily and yet mysteriously. Eta considers himself to be untouched on the surface, giving no impression of himself. But underneath the skin of this dark wolf is a humble beast of the seventh brightest star.
