Maria spends a lot of her time with other packs, pretending to be one of them and reporting back on them. Nobody knows who she really works for. La Cosa Nostra has to hope it's them. She's always being watched suspiciously.
Maria came to the pack at age two after her previous one fell apart. A quiet sort, she has seen much at a young age. She hates talking about her past and her family, but has mostly integrated into her new pack well. She keeps her former career as spy a secret, having only confided in Sprucetail.

Maria is quiet, a sort of tragic figure, impossible to read and easy to forget that she is in the room. She has that way about her that makes her seem like she's hiding something, so her loyalty is often questioned and nobody knows who she really works for.
Maria came here when her pack kicked out a bunch of wolves. She was found by Ambra and brought in, and Ambra set her up with Salvadore.
Preferences
As has been stated elsewhere, few of the other wolves trust Maria unreservedly. The ones who do are Pinenose, who respects Maria's abilities; Sprucetail, who Maria entrusted with the secret of her past; Winter, who Maria regards as a kindred spirit; and Maria's half-sister Summer, who even as a juvenile understood the burden a beautiful and talented she-wolf carries. However, Barkclaw, Mistheart, and Spiderweb actively distrust Maria and are cold to her. As has been stated elsewhere, Maria finds Shadow and Rust to be arrogant and overbearing.
