Cadaveria had chosen him for a reason. There was something transfixed to the soul of the young wolf that was not quite normal, many believed. He used to play with dead birds over other pups growing up, and slept best as a teetering little lad when lying on top of a stiffly carcass.
Cirque De Morgue was what Cadaveria called him, as he too had such a purely blissful fascination with death. Many of the questions that he'd ask her were ones that she too had been desperate to discover when she was his age. There had been such an innocence to him, so morbidly curious about the deceased.
The two were bonded by their love of the afterlife and the grotesquely morbid paths. Cadaveria taught Cirque a variety of techniques and lessons, and in exchange he gave her company in her last remaining days. Cirque's favorite memory of Cadaveria was when she had carefully mouthed one of her beloved carrion crow's eggs and brought it to him, settling it so gently between his forelimbs. He was to keep it warm until it hatched, in order to learn the patience needed to become a Chief Mortician. She was proud to see that he had done so -- the little crow born nestled against his chest. She knew it was odd, but she felt like with her crows continuing to produce, live, and die at his side in an endless cycle, that he would always have a little piece of her there for guidance -- and that a remnant of her would live on in them forever.
Cirque had become proficient in the macabre ways by the time he was a short-furred juvenile. His crows followed him constantly, often riding on his back and cawing their bleak cries. He had reared several of the young avian himself, their lines stemming from his mentor's. He was proud to have them with him, always.

Cirque has inherited much of Cadaveria's personality as her prodigy. He is abundantly fascinated by the morbid and often comes across as gruesome, strange or cynical in conversation, but is actually quite witty and passionate once given a chance. He is an abundantly loyal individual, which likely stemmed from his time so dedicated to both Cadaveria and the Morgue. He is so loyal that he can appear almost stubborn or naive at times, but one has to respect such dedication.
Cirque is very fascinated with the crows he's raised - oftentimes he will keep their glossy black feathers tangled in his thick neck fur. He is like a proud parent to them, quite possibly because he believes that they have connected he and Cadaveria forever.
While he is a passionate speaker about the dark arts he is so entranced by, Cirque is a rather smooth talker and tends to be a little sarcastic when conversing. He has a fond interest in high-strong, assertive females, and enjoys flirtatiously bantering with them from time to time. Still, his life has been dedicated to death, and everything revolving around it.
