Biography
"My earliest memory is of me and Dusk playing in a meadow when we were both young pups. We were always close throughout our childhood. This bond grew as we got older and I hoped that it might turn into more than just a friendship.
My dream came true when Dusk annouced that he felt the same, and asked if I wanted to start a new pack with him. Of course I agreed and we left our pack and went into the unknown. I was excited and I knew he was too. We found a territory and settled down. All was well at first. We were in love and the bond was strong. But pretty soon it all collapsed. We should have known that setting up a pack took more effort than just finding a den. Turns out, we had very different ideas about what we wanted from a pack. I suppose it was my fault, I shouldn't have been so stubborn, but i just couldn't back down from what I thought was the right thing to do. Dusk just wasn't making sense anymore and our world was crashing down. Eventually, we took it too far. The last fight was bitter and horrible. We both said things we didn't really mean. It was then we decided that it would be better for both of us to go our own ways, and we disbanded the pack.
After that I didn't know what to do. I had always imagined me spending the rest of my life with Dusk. Now we had split, I didn't know what to do with my life anymore. I wandered the forest aimlessly for days searching for...something. I don't even really know what I was looking for. Most of my time was spent overthinking our last fight and how it could have been different, and regretting what had happened. It took a long time for me to get over Dusk.
One day, I ran into Solstice. He was different, and seemed strange. He seemed lonely too, though. I missed the company of another wolf, and I guess he did too, and we decided to travel together. Solstice was cold and seemingly uncaring at first, but as we traveled together we got to know each other and we opened up. He's actually quite sweet when you get to know him. Slowly, a friendship formed between us. Being around Solstice eased the pain of losing Dusk, and I hoped this friendship would last. Though I kept it to myself in those early days, I hoped that we could be something more, and we could spend our lives together. I didn't know how he felt though, and I was afraid of moving too fast, incase it turned out bad again and I lost him.
While traveling together, we got closer, and one day we came across a beautiful part of the forest. Solstice suddenly turned to me, and said he wanted to ask me something. He confessed that he loved me, and wanted to ask if I would stay with him, here, and make a pack for ourselves. I was surprised, but I knew I loved him too. I agreed and we settled down by a waterfall to watch the sunrise. I had never felt happier. I knew it was love, and it felt different to what I had with Dusk. This was real love.
Solstice insisted on naming the pack 'Dawn's Light'. He said it was because of the way he felt when we first met. I was honoured. We settled quickly into our new territories and we soon found our pack growing. A young wolf called Silverbirch wandered into our territory, lost and alone. We welcomed her into our pack and she quickly settled in. Soon after, I found I was pregnant. We eagerly awaited pups. When Bolt and Mysti were born I felt complete. This is where I'm ment to be. This is home."
