"Look pups," Laila whispered, tossing her head gently. "Look up to the skies. You see all of those sparkles?"
"Yes yes!" The little band of pups replied, excited to be outside of the den so late.
"Those are stars." Laila said. "Do you know what all of those stars are?"
"Um..." Prince said, his little tail wagging excitedly. "Stars?" he guessed, giggling.
"Well yes," Laila answered, laughing. "But they are also something far greater. They are all the leaders of the past, dotting the night sky like this every night, looking at us. Watching over us. The brightest one next to the moon? That there is Great Loki."
"Loki!"
"Loki!"
"Loki!" All of the pups said in turn, their voices howling. Laila smiled and howled herself, tilting her head back.
"Praise him!"
