Biography Alpha Jr remembered being a young pup, peering up at his father with bright, wide, blue-green visionaries, filled to the brim with curiosity. Life itself sparkled in his youthful eyes. Alpha Jr was a clumsy and skilless in his younger years, but he perservered with sheer determination. His stern, firm, yet loving father followed his every pawstep, pushing him forwards and dragging him by the scruff when he fell. His father was his main role-model; the male learnt everything he knew from his father, from how to hunt and fight, to how to be empathetic, charismatic, and healthy in physical, mental and spiritual aspects. Somehow, he even managed to surpass him. His crushing strength was noticed a few years into his life of training, after he began to become ruthless in battle. Alpha Jr tore apart anything that stood in his way, still staying deathly loyal to his pack. They celebrated the secretive, darker side of life, but he didn't consider that to be a bad thing.
Alpha Jr didn't mind that his name was almost the same as his father's, as he understood he had to continue his glorious, victorious generation. Instead, he held the name with pride, bellowing it in the face of his enemies. It became his battle cry, and he and his father were known throughout the entire realm as the strongest wolf pair of the century.
However, as Alpha began aging, his son started becoming protective. Alpha Jr would snap at anyone who dared inch close to his father; even his mother was no longer allowed near him. It pained the alpha to see his son like this, and he wondered if he had been too harsh on the younger wolf. At the age of 18, he passed away.
Alpha Jr mourned for days. Weeks, even. But eventually, he had to face the truth. Alpha was dead, and it was time for his son to truly rise.
The black-and-cream male continued his training, mastering every skill with expertise. Despite his name, he did not attempt to belittle the rest of the pack by asserting his dominance. He stayed in the lower ranks, as his father had been. Though, he still was a brilliant leader to the pack, regardless of his status as an omega. He was respected as much as a true Alpha. However, he always wished to stay the Junior, as to not disrespect his father's name.
Eventually, he recovered from his state of grief, instead toughing out the harsher years and relishing in his life. He often took time to sit and think outside of battle. He savoured every meal he had. He remembered every taste that flourished on his tongue. He sired many offspring and lived life as a free wolf, never bound to a post or stripped of his freedom by the pack. He felt truly alive. The brute became known as one of the top battling wolves in the land, his overgrown claws and toned, muscular, quadruped body leading him steadily through life.
Now, as he sits at death's door, Alpha Jr lets out a long, finalising howl. It echos through the night, the day. It weaves through the forest trees and chills the cold tundras even more. It flows on the wind that softly sweeps against the sand and gently rides the ocean waves. He slowly reveres himself. A small smile crosses his muzzle. "I will be joining you soon, father," he whispers to himself. "Just give me a little more time."
