Expressionless.
Unfeeling.
Not Sierra.
Sierra, as a pup had been born to a pack that valued the art of masking emotions. That prided themselves in showing no fear, no joy, no remorse, no anger. That prided themselves in being a true warrior. And Sierra had done the same. But years of channeling all of her suppressed joy, stamped down fear, livid fury.... had turned her heart and mind into a roaring tempest of only a single song - agony.
Trapping emotions within yourself, letting them brood and grow into a roaring storm only does one thing - tear you apart from the inside.
But Sierra never had let on that she was suffering. No, her stony faced facade gave away nothing. But she was crumbling on the inside. She soon reached two years old - and left the pack, as all young wolves had. It was not hard to find another family of wolves that accepted her. But it was hard to cope to their ways of living.
They were so open with their feelings, so free...
It was all beyond Sierra's understanding of the wolf's nature. But never did anyone know what she was thinking in this new pack.
Nor did they see her pain.
Her joy.
Her fear.
No one ever knew of Sierra's boiling fury in her gut until one day she exploded. No one understood. Suddenly a peaceful, passive wolf turned violent, roaring, snapping, slashing. Hurting.
She hurt others. Attacked them.
All because she hurt inside.
And then they understood.
They healed her broken parts, her wounded soul.
They made her understand that emotions aren't weakness.
And ever since then, Sierra has learned to live in the ways of a pack of Stars.
