Doting on young pups. Very protective of them.
Deeply devoted to keeping her family safe.

The most dependable of the alpha pair's pups, Perta's parents have given him more responsibility than any of his litter-mates. This especially irks Pakak and Tikaani, as they dread being compared with this "over virtuous" brother each time they get into mischief.

Down to earth -with the one exception being his secret vanity for keeping a perfect pelt.

Very sceptical. Like his mother, Little Flame, he believes only in what he smells. His father's fanciful stories, and his siblings' readiness to believe them, often elicit a snort and grand eye roll from Perta.

Very close to his mother, Little Flame, despite having polar opposite temperaments.
He has, though, some friction with his father every story time. Sometimes he feel he the only member of the pack not consumed with his father's far fetched yarns.
