Cold water woke the a young pup from his sleep, the once dry den of his mother was damp and empty, he raced out side to see where his mother went. The snow was melted and no scent was traceable, his pack mates had vanished as well. He was alone, and the horror of this settled in as he ran through the morning fog hoping for a single sign of his pack. Many weeks past and his need for a sturdy life pushed on his heart... he knew of his father's pack and crossed the moistened lands to reach there borders. He came to his father's pack and pleaded to be allowed to stay for 2 years as a servant. As the bastard son one of the packs dominating males they took sampath, only for there true intentions to make him work tirelessly for a endless war.. during his time in his father's pack he managed to meet his half brother, a lady of the pack's son. There bond only grew. Canis was only a low ranking officer but know how to command his platoons. His brother a general plotting strategies for strikes against their enemies. That was till the brother fell for a enemies lady of court. Canis saw this and protected his brother's secret from the pack, even through his jealousy of the wonderful female his brother had fallen for... the war had come to a stand still an the brother was killed by a enemies leader, Canis broke and defected from his father's pack, joining a renegade Neutral pack that had approached him many years ago.
