Biography
Lucerne was the second son of his litter, his calm disposition and sneaky attitude didn't fit in that well with his lightbringer pack, who was entirely too willing to howl out challenges to all who broke their sacred code of life.
But some parts of their philosophy stuck with him, even after he left the pack in search of something else.
It might be the discussions with the pack alphas father - during the time he found his name - that enticed him so.
He chose his name to honor all his future prey. Like the old wolf Argil he too believed that all things in life circles. You circle when you secure your territory and when you fight, When you look for prey and when you lie down to sleep. Water disappears downstream, but circle back and come again from upstream. therefore life must circle as well. Wolves eat the other animals - and so they must eat wolves at some point.
Lucerne is the name of a plant his prey eat at times. So it is only right that it should be his name.

Ever calm and secure in who he is, Lucerne can be surprisingly vicious. He is the one who would lie patiently in wait for his chosen prey, hidden among the shadows and ready to make a kill. He is also the one who would follow those who got away until they stopped, and the one who would gladly watch in silence as they sought safety in numbers - only to make his move when they finally relaxed. He is patient, calculating and prepared to win. One way or another.
When relaxing with his pack he also likes to ponder on life and talk philosophy with all who might listen.
