Lawless's mother, Guilty Smile, had the great fortune of having him and his sister. She was proud of them, and such a wonderful mother that it's a wonder Lawless turned out how he did. But as it turned out, he grew sick of her happy-go-lucky personality. After all, she may have been lucky, but all wolves were not. He saw around him suffering wolves and felt for them - why should he have such a wonderful life if they could not? He wanted more than anything to help them. He attached himself to Ophelia, who was always aiding others, but he himself found himself struggling to keep a positive outlook. Everything in the world was simply terrible. He hated himself for his demonic blood, and as soon as he met Licht, he attached himself to this angel of a wolf. He wouldn't leave Licht alone, wouldn't let him have a moment in peace. Finally Licht lost his temper and let out a tyrade of honesty against Lawless, telling him off for dragging other wolves down and for being so useless to those who were suffering. He felt bad, of course, as soon as he did, but Lawless was gentleman enough to realize the error of his ways and try to be better wolf.

Named him after Lawless / Hyde, the servamp of greed, from SERVAMP! He's one of my favorite characters and I think I'll have him be the alpha male along with Ophelia when Noct and Luna get a little too old ^^ He's also voiced by Kimura Ryohei who is one of my favorite voice actors

Lawless is a wolf naturally predisposed to be moody, cynical, and melodramatic. Every instance of cruelty and injustice he sees sends him spiraling off into gloom and despair. However, he strives to be a good person and one who makes the world a little easier to bear for others. He has no empathy, though a great deal of sympathy, and is uncomfortable being tender with other wolves. He's always feeding the hungry, though, giving shelter and using his dominance to diffuse conflict. He sometimes lays quietly, for a while, and contemplates the fact that none of this will matter in a hundred years. He fluctuates between a relatively good mood and hope that he might become like his mate and best friend, and lazy depression in which he reads Shakespeare and thinks about the hopelessness of it all. He has a terrible temper which leads him to make fun of wolves who cross him.
Lawless cares deeply about two wolves. First, Ophelia, his mate, because she represents everything he wants to be. She cheers him up when he's depressed, and helps him find hope. She's always guiding him, always trying to help him be the wolf he wants to be. He listens to everything she says, and is incredibly affectionate with her. He also adores his reluctant best friend, Licht. He sees Licht as yet another guide, an angel who balances out his demonic blood. He follows Licht around ceaselessly, and poor Licht allows it most of the time. They have an unstable truce that maintains good humor most of the time. However, it's not uncommon for one of them to snap at the other, and there have been hurt feelings many times. Lawless isn't very close with his family, and doesn't approve of his mother much, but he's civil enough to her. He has a pair of pet rabbits that Ophelia wanted him to look after. He's constantly trying to make sure nobody eat them.
