Biography Cash was born different. He was gorgeous and all the girls fell for him, even as a pup, but he had absolutely zero interest in the girls. He could tall to them well and he acted just like them, but never had any more interest than just being friends with them. And he didn't know why. He'd always play by himself or gossip with the she-wolves as a pup. His parents looked at him funny. In fact the entire pack looked at him funny.
As Cash grew up his feelings became more and more apparent. Once he was a juvenile hunter, he got to go out hunting by himself. He always opted to go alone, so he could sniff the flowers and enjoy the beauty of the mountains that his pack lived on. He would always come back with a rabbit or two, but it was clear he'd been frolicking in the flowers as his pelt would have a light dusting of pollen on it. It'd make some of the other wolves sneeze so he'd put down his kills and go for a swim.
One day he dived to under the water to look at a water flower. When he came back up, he came up right under a lily pad blooming with a lotus. Before he could shake it off or even notice the other wolf, he heard a whistle and it was clearly a male's voice. But it had him blushing more than he'd ever had before. In that moment he figured out why he had never had any interest in females, he was gay.
Cash looked around for this other wolf and soon spotted him. His fur was solid black and shone in the sunlight. His green eyes looked like they could see right into someone's soul. But best of all, was the stark pink nose. And it was done, Cash had fallen in love with another male. His pack would probably freak out and banish him forever, so he wouldn't tell them yet.
Cash got out of the water and went over to the male. He didn't even shake the water out of his fur neither did he get rid of the lily pad and lotus on his head. The pair spent hours gossiping and getting to know each other. As the sun went down, Cash knew he had to go back to his pack. He said his good byes to the wolf he learned was named Shadow.
Cash slowly walked back to camp and arrived back just as everyone was going off to bed. He went to his den and laid down, but he couldn't sleep. All he could do was think about Shadow. He laid awake for hours thinking about him, and when he did finally fall asleep, his dreams were filled with a million possibilities of a future with Shadow.
He woke up feeling lighter than he ever had before. He ate breakfast and instead of chatting with the pack like he normally did, he bounded off for his morning hunt. He got to the pond and found that Shadow had fallen asleep in the same place he'd left him the night before. Cash smiled, but instead of waking him, Cash decided to catch him a rabbit. He bounded off and caught his normal amount of rabbits for the pack and took them back to camp. Before anyone noticed he was back he ran off again. This time to catch Shadow a rabbit. Like the good hunter he was he had two rabbits in his jaws and was walking back to the pond in no time.
He woke up Shadow with the thump of a rabbit hitting the dirt half an inch from his nose. He slowly blinked as he took in the sights. Shadow thanked him for it and they shared their first meal together. Today was no different than yesterday. Cash got caught up talking to Shadow as the sun slowly set. Cash soon went back home and back to his den to sleep. Just like yesterday, his dreams were filled with Shadow.
The days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months. Every day Cash and Shadow would get together and do things, whether it'd be hunting or swimming or just hanging out by the pond, nothing could separate the two off them. One day as the sun set on the horizon, Cash didn't go back to his pack. He stayed with Shadow. Same for the night after that. After a week of not returning to camp, Cash finally did return, and he took Shadow with him. But it wasn't in hope that his pack would accept them, oh no. It was to announce that Cash was leaving the pack to be a loner with Shadow. There had been some complaints but Cash didn't care. He left the camp head held high and his tail twisted in Shadow's as they walked away side by side.
