We may have only known each other a little over a year, but it seemed like so much longer. Now that you have been gone for as long as we had known each other, your loss is great. Your battle was hard, and your fight was final. No matter how hard you fought, it still wasn't enough. In the end all you went through, all we did, didn't even matter. All the nights I stayed up talking to you convincing you not to give up fighting, only gave you a few more months... Not even a blink in time... But you did great, you fought hard, and your name will forever be written on my heart and the hearts of many others. May you never feel the pain of your cancer again.
