Biography Kohana crept through the grass, keeping her ears pricked towards the doe. She stopped, sensing the does sudden movement. Just a few more feet and she would be there. Don't spook now. Please don't. Kohana thought, inching closer. The deer's head darted up as it scanned the area. Kohana flattened herself against the ground. Slowly, the deer lowered her head and continued grazing. Kohana turned her attention from the doe to her fawn, hoping she'd be able to make the kill. The fawn was lying in the tall grass, a few feet away from its mothers hooves. Kohana stretched her claws, getting prepared to pounce. The doe noticed her stalking towards the fawn and leapt forwards, alerting the fawn of her presence. Kohana snarled and pushed off, powering towards the fawn. The young deer stood and tried to escape. One of Kohana's claws snagged the fawns hide and she pulled it towards her, wrapping her other paw around it in a fatal hug. She gripped onto the struggling fawn and curled her neck around it, trying to wrap her mouth around its jugular. The fawn kicked out and she clasped her teeth around its neck. Slowly the deer went limp, its escape attempts useless against her jaws. Kohana released the dead fawn from her mouth, letting it flop over her paws. She licked her chops and scanned the area. The mother had seen her fawn in Kohana's grip and fled, abandoning her now dead baby. Kohana stood and stretched before grabbing the body and dragging it back to her den. "Dinner." She yipped, placing her kill before the sleeping wolf inside. The wolf yawned slowly and opened his eyes. "Thanks." He said nuzzling her. She watched happily as he dug into the meat, proud that she had made the kill on her own. She sat in front of him and leaned over, looking past her mate at their pups. Rain and Kele were fast asleep, their heads draped over each other. "How has the pack been?'' Kohana asked, returning her gaze to Kimi. "Good, although they were a little worried when they woke up and found their Alpha missing." He said, his aqua eyes resting on her. "They were worried?" Kohana said skeptically. "I think that maybe it was actually you who was worried." Kohana shoved Kimi before laughing and running back outside. She sat down beside Lulu, who seemed confused, and waited. "Well... maybe. But I have every right to be incredibly angry at you for running off and worrying me." Kimi said, stepping into the sunlight. Kohana smiled as he came over and pushed her back. She fell into the moss, laughing. "Mommy!" Kohana heard someone yell. "No. Fighting. Daddy says that fighting is very bad." Kele said huffily, marching out of the den. Rain followed him, playing with his tail. Kohana giggled. "NOT FUNNY! You have been very bad Mommy. Bad girl." Her son yelled, running over to her.
