Biography
Austen normally didn't find anything on his patrols. So when he came across a female with a ball of whimpering fur on her maw, he was rather surprised.

"What are you doing here?" Austen rumbled, stepping towards the female. All she did was drop the pup she was carrying at his paws.

The pup curled in the grass, whimpering and trembling. She was thin and looked exhausted. Poor thing was clearly neglected, having apparently been claimed as a dud rather quickly after birth.

"Uh-?"

"I'm selling her," the female said, not bothering to look down at her pup's shivering form. From lack of care or maybe guilt, Austen couldn't tell. "She's a dud. It's forty mushrooms. Do you want her?"

Austen glanced down at the female pup. Her pelt was nice, clearly a relatively high rarity.

"Is she inbred."

"No."

"Any talents?"

The female huffed. "Are you going to buy her or not?"

Austen glanced from the pup to the direction their currency was hidden. "Forty mushrooms, you say?"


Saying Zara was surprised when her mate returned with a pup in his jaws was an understatement.

"Austen, where-"

"Meet our son's new mate," Austen said proudly, aftering placing the pup at her side along with the boys of their recent litter. "Elsie."
